Description
This vest was a part of the Canadian felt exhibition “Shrine” and got an award for the best wearable piece.
I got the inspiration from the saying “My body is a temple”. I imagined, that my body also could be a shrine: holding my secrets and memories, supporting me and my spirit.
The labyrinth pattern on the front shows the journey we need to travel to find the answers in life. Side leather belts are adjustable and will fit chest size 40″ to 52″. Copper details are made by a metal artist Mary-Beth Piper, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
42″ long.
Materials: merino wool, silk, viscose fibers, copper, leather.
